Jamsical
Jamsical is a musical improv jam hosted by a rotating cast of musical improvisers. It's open to all, whether you're a casual shower-singer or the next Rosalía. It's an opportunity for complete beginners to try out musical improv in a fun and supportive environment while also giving exprienced musical improvisers a chance to get some reps in playing with different people.
Arrive early and sign up to play. Just tell us how much musical improv experience you have (or don't have) and we'll do our best to create teams that can shine.
Each team will perform a musical montage, and each musical montage will have a set number of songs in it, depending on how many people sign up.
You can also just watch! Your job as an audience member is to fiercely support the musical antics onstage. Just reserve a seat below.
A bucket will enthusiastically collect your donations for the hosting team and accompanist at the end of the jam.
p.s. hello accompanists - you can also sign up to play! CCB has a keyboard but you are welcome to bring your own instrument if it's acoustic and can provide a clear rhythm (like a guitar or an accordion).
