Team Jam
It’s like a regular improv jam, but you sign up as a team instead of an individual. Your team can be people you've never played with before, people from class, people you met at a regular jam, etc. It could even be people you already play with, but there's simply not enough stage time for you!
Anyone can join and everyone can play.
Note: you can also just attend and watch the jam—you don't have to sign up if you don't want to.
How it works: Arrive 15 mins before showtime to sign up with your team (if you want to jam). The amount of stage time depends on how many teams sign up. For example: if 10 teams sign up, they'll get about 5 minutes per team. If you come alone, we'll make a "mixer" group for you to play in.
The purpose of this jam is to help kickstart more indie teams, enable more stage time for beginners, and provide an opportunity for folks to play with people they don't usually get a chance to play with, and to have fun of course! If your team already plays a lot (a house team or ones with a regular show, for example, maybe hold back on signing up for this).
The regular tips for a good improv jam still apply.
